We certainly enjoy bringing all of you in the greater Marietta the details regarding new Audi releases, especially when it has to do with a model as exciting as the Audi TT. Let's uncover some of the details regarding what to expect for the new 2014 model.
In terms of its design, Audi plans to include a mixture of design elements from the first and second generation models, while also adding in some extra pizzazz from new design components. In other words, it will be a TT but have a totally different feel. Viewing it from the sides and rear, it will retain the traditional TT sporty appeal, but from the front it will provide a completely refreshed style.
We can also expect the model to be built on the new MQB platform. It is lighter than the current TT platform and has a longer wheelbase. It addition to being more aerodynamic with a more lightweight frame, Audi plans to increase its fuel efficiency with the addition of turbocharged engines in both gasoline and diesel options.
It's quite possible we can expect to see its current 2.0-liter turbocharged DOHC engine as an option as well. It cranks out 211 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque to offer drivers an enjoyable performance out on the open roads.
