Audi Keeps Pace with Setting Record Breaking Sales in June

It's quite an accomplishment to achieve record breaking sales within the auto industry, but even more so when it's done 30 consecutive months in a row by the same automaker. All of us here at Jim Ellis Audi Marietta were thrilled to learn that Audi has kept its record going in June, not just with high numbers, but with the number of months that are consistently setting impressive records.

In June, Audi saw an 8.2 percent increase when compared to last year's sales, with a total of 13,706 new Audi vehicles making their way to new driveways. In addition to marking the 30^th consecutive month it has seen a boost in sales, this is also the second best month of sales ever experienced by the automaker. When looking at the year-to-date sales, Audi has already seen an increase of 14 percent in 2013.

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Audi of America, Mark Del Rosso, explains, "The momentum seen in Audi sales month after month flows from a commitment to advanced products, careful preparation and a steady strategic plan."¹

Which models contributed the most to these strong sales? The Q7 took the lead of SUV sales with a year-over-year increase of 78.3 percent in June. Another stand out leader was the Q5 crossover with a sales gain of 25.6 percent.
