When you think about going off-roading, you might not think to check out what the new Audi lineup has to offer. However we must not forget that back in 1999 Audi introduced the A6 Allroad Quattro, which provided drivers with a great alternative to SUV's and typical off-roading vehicles.
With rugged tires, advanced height-adjustable air suspension for addition clearance, and oversized wheels for off-pavement grip, the Audi A6 Allroad Quattro was ready for any kind of off-roading adventure. In terms of its powertrain, the original model sported the twin-turbo 2.7-liter V6 and later became available with a 4.2-liter V8 engine before sadly being discontinued in 2005.
Now eight years later, Audi is reintroducing a replacement based off the compact Audi A4 Avant wagon. The redesigned Allroad we've all been waiting for is ready to please drivers in the greater Marietta, GA area and beyond.
With the Allroad added to the lineup, drivers can get the best of both worlds with the luxury and utility of models like the Q5 and Q7 models. All of the upgrades available to the new Allroad have all of us at Jim Ellis Audi of Marietta quite excited.
