All of us here at Jim Ellis Audi Marietta can hardly wait until the LA Auto Show next month. This is because the unveiling of the new Audi A3 is finally upon us, and with so many rumors circulating, we are excited to see what the refreshed model has to bring to the table. One thing we do know is that we can expect Audi will be offering some new connectivity choices to drivers.

In a recent interview, Scott Keogh, president of Audi USA explained that when the sedan version of the A3 debuts at the auto show, it will be accompanied by some exciting announcements regarding Audi Connect technology. The vehicle is scheduled to features the brand's first 4G LTE-connection. This addition will also be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show that takes place in early January. Audi plans to use this opportunity to further explain what the infotainment package for the A3 will include.

As far as data options go, Keogh didn't confirm any specifics. However he did mention that they've taken into account that drivers might prefer to have other data connectivity choices. In just a few weeks we will be learning exactly which innovative technologies the A3 will be featuring.

What else do we have to look forward to? A five-door sportback variant of the model will make its way to U.S. dealerships sometime in 2014 as a plug-in hybrid. We are excited to see yet another eco-friendly option become a part of the new Audi lineup.
