Audi’s All-New A3 Adds Highest Rating for Safety to Its Accolades

You can't even get your hands on the all-new Audi A3 yet, and it's already earning awards and recognition in its luxury sedan class. The 2015 A3, primed with pre-sense front, recently earned a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

After enduring the IIHS's rigorous safety testing, the Audi A3 came out on top with the highest rating possible. The sedan scored an "advanced" rating for the front crash prevention test and a "good" rating for the additional moderate overlap front, side, roof strength, head restraints, and small overlap front tests.

"The TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating for the A3 sedan demonstrates the full Audi commitment to safety," said Mark Del Rosso, Chief Operating Officer for Audi of America. "With a host of standard luxury features, industry-first technology and uncompromised design, the Audi A3 raises the bar as to what is expected out of entry-level luxury vehicles."
