The World Car Awards have announced the candidates for its handful of prestigious awards, including World Car of the Year, World Luxury Car, World Performance Car, World Green Car, and World Car Design of the Year.
The winner of each award will be chosen at the upcoming New York Auto Show taking place April 18th - 27th. We're especially interested in the Audi A3, which has been nominated for two of the categories.
The stock Audi A3 is a strong contender for World Car of the Year, while the A3 Sportback e-tron model will be competing for World Green Car—and we wouldn’t be surprised if Audi took home both awards.
