Not only does June bring the sights and sounds of summer, it also marks the return of some of our favorite TV series, like "Pretty Little Liars". And if you haven't been watching, boy, do you have some catching up to do. The hit drama's new season just began on June 10 and Audi will join the show in an innovative social partnership to bring viewers exclusive content and an interactive experience.
"Pretty Little Liars" is the most-tweeted show on television today and one of the most-watched series among millennial women. Audi's partnership will capitalize on its current popularity by providing exclusive content through Snapchat and will engage audiences through additional social platforms, like Twitter, with the help of actor Ian Harding, better known as the character Ezra.
"Audi is a constant part of the social chatter surrounding
key pop culture moments and this partnership allows us to continue targeting a
new audience," said Loren Angelo, marketing director for Audi of America.
"The recent launch of the all-new Audi A3, an entry-level sedan that doesn't sacrifice design, technology or performance, was a pivotal moment for the brand because it targets first-time luxury buyers and allows us to engage a younger generation. Partnering with a show that is a phenomenon amongst this audience was a natural fit for us to continue to increase brand awareness and perception."
