Audi has extended its long 38-month streak of consecutive record sales, reporting a total of 10,881 vehicles sales in February 2014 led by the A6, Q7, and R8. Audi Certified pre-owned vehicles were also considerably successful as they set a new 7th straight monthly record.
The A6 kept luxury sedan sales strong, with 1,743 units sold for a 27.2% increase. With its many intelligent technologies like Audi MMI™ touch and Audi connect®, the A6 stands out as one of the most desirable luxury sedans on the market at an affordable price.
Luxury SUV sales were accelerated by the Q7's performance, which sold 1,229 units for a 33.6% increase. Whether it's the coupe-like silhouette, the incredible performance, or the fine craftsmanship, the Q7 leaves its passengers wanting for nothing.
Most impressive of all was the rising demand for the updated Audi R8 models—including the R8 V8, R8 V10, and R8 V10 plus. This renewed attention to the iconic, performance-engineered sports car has helped the R8 post a 52.8% sales increase year-to-date.
