Our hearts love outrageous concept cars. They tease and excite, leaving us dreaming of a future where everyone gets to drive something exotic. Our minds, however, know better. Concept cars rarely look as titillating by the time they make it through production, if they make it at all. This is why the most exciting concept cars are actually the ones that look most grounded in reality—but only sometimes.
The latest Audi TT concept sketches show that kind of car. It isn’t official, per say—so far only a leaked design sketch—but we’ve good reason to believe it’ll join the TT-based concept family the German automaker has been expanding since Geneva earlier this year. It looks like a much more grounded evolution of the Offroad Concept we saw in April.
