August 2014 marks the 44th month of consecutive sales increases for Audi of America (AoA). We at Jim Ellis Audi Marietta are excited that not only did the brand continue its sales growth, but it also set a new, all-time record for sales in a single month.
The automaker’s U.S. sales totaled 17,101 vehicles, an increase of 22.1 percent.
“Audi dealers nationwide are selling new models as quickly as they are delivered to showrooms – resulting in the best month ever in AoA history,” said Mark Del Rosso, executive vice president and chief operating officer for AoA. “By accelerating 2015 model introductions, we are able to keep pace with this momentum to carry it through the end of 2014 and beyond.
The all-new 2015 Audi A3, which was released during the spring, contributed to that sales growth with more than 12,300 units sold to date.
The automaker now holds the record for the “longest running monthly record sales streak in the premium car market.” Here’s to another month of sales gains and new records!
