Have you ever found yourself behind the wheel of a new Audi and thought, "this is so advanced it might as well drive itself"?
The truth is, Audi is actually working to make that happen. Today, an Audi A7 equipped with Audi piloted driving technology will arrive at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show after a 550 mile journey from Silicon Valley.
The model was fitted with technology already available in new Audi models, such as Audi side assist and blind spot monitoring, as well as a series of radar sensors, laser scanners, and cameras for advanced highway manuevering.
The model can travel up to speeds of 70 mph on the highway, change lanes, and pass other cars, but the concept needs further development when it comes to complex urban driving. Check out the first leg of the trip:
