At Jim Ellis Audi - Marietta one of our Service Managers discovered the problem with a customer's electrical system. He called it a "VERMIN ISSUE". I'd never heard of this before.
This customer's car had been sitting up while she went out of the country. Seems a family of mice decided to take up residence inside the engine compartment of her car while she was gone and the car was sitting at the Airport. Apparently mice just love to eat electrical wiring. Cost $1,800!
Seems this happens every once in a while to all makes of cars.
