IIHS Top Safety Pick+ Award
For the 2022 model year, seven new Audi models earned the highest rating with the IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award. This accolade is reserved for vehicles that achieve good ratings in all six crash worthiness tests, as well as frontal crash prevention that earns either advanced or superior ratings, and come equipped with standard headlights that achieve a good or acceptable rating. These models are:
- 2022 Audi A6
- 2022 Audi A6 allroad
- 2022 Audi A7
- 2022 Audi Q5
- 2022 Audi Q5 Sportback
- 2022 Audi e-tron
- 2022 Audi e-tron Sportback
Additionally, three new 2022 Audi models earned the equally impressive IIHS Top Safety Pick award, which is for models that meet the same requirements mentioned above but may not come standard with LED or Matrix-design LED headlights across the entire trim lineup.
